The entire Trinity acts as we pray for God to enlighten our understanding by the Holy Spirit through the Son. For Luther (as with many Christians before him) God acts through the devout, prayerful study of his Word.

EDUCATION AT FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH IS VITAL TO OUR GROWTH IN THE FAITH.
There are Certain Truths That are vital to our ministry.
No one has all the knowledge that they need. We are all in need of a place to study throughout this life. FELC wants to be a vibrant part of that process.
Parents are the key teachers in the family. Most learning is going to be passed from generation to generation not from church to child. We are here to equip you so you can equip them.
Students hit milestones in their learning as they grow. There are certain steps that we feel are important for students and their parents at FELC. We will study and learn at each of the following: Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, and Graduation.
Adult learning is not just a Sunday thing. Though we offer Sunday morning classes, there are opportunities to join studies throughout the week.

Truth Seekers. A Generational Class that Does Video Based Bible Studies with Classroom Discussions. Meets in Felgar Hall on Sunday Mornings at 9:15am
Growing in Faith. Multi-Generational Class that Dives into Relevant Topics for Today’s Life in Faith. Meets in Hax Parlor (Bridal Room) on Sunday Mornings at 9:15am
Parents of Faith. Class of Parents of Young Children Striving to Raise Their Families in Faith. Meets in Library (Room 118) on Sunday Mornings at 9:15am
Thursday Night Women’s Bible Study. Grow Deeper in Your Faith with this 52 Week Bible Study. Join Us in the Library (Room 118) on Thursday Nights at 6:15pm. You will need to purchase a book for this class and bring your Bible.
Wednesday Night Adult Bible Study. Next Study Details Coming Soon.

Kids Ministry AT FELC
Kid Ministry Opening. Meets in the Sanctuary at 9:15am to worship together, before heading to Class. The classes are listed below.
Sunday Morning Sunday School. Made Specifically for Kids. Lutheran Based Curriculum that focuses on the same scriptures that we use in worship each week.

- PreK-Kindergarden: Room 107
- 1st-3rd: Room 107A
- 4th-6th: Room 111

Youth Ministry AT FELC
Sunday Morning Sunday School. Meets in the Sanctuary at 9:15am to worship together, before heading to Youth Room for Class (side of Hiller Activity Center)
Confirmation. Learn about our Church History, reaffirm your baptism and learn to claim your own faith in this special year for 8th graders. Meets in Education Wing, Room 101
