MINISTRIES AT

First English Lutheran

As people of God, we are called to His service.  This service happens within the church and outside the walls but always to His glory.  It is often said that we are the hands and feet of Christ in this world.  The weight of that responsibility is great, but the glory given to God because of it is immense.  Because of our Heart and Head let us be Hands for Christ. Expand your faith moments by following the characteristics listed in 1 Peter 4:10

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God‘s varied grace.” 1 Peter 4:10

Heritage Day Began well over 100 years ago and continues to be a way to allow those who are able to give from their abundance to provide needed funds for those who are impacting lifes here in the Crossroads of Texas.

This is a HUGE event and typically raises well over $50,000.

Mission Victoria

Mission Victoria is a week-long celebration for our youth and volunteers working in the community, by volunteering with their time and talents.

These teams sleep at the church, worship together, have fellowship together, and work hard together.

Music Ministry

The Music Ministry here at FELC consists of a Bell Choir, a Vocal Choir, and a Praise Band. Each of these groups plays a vital role in different aspects of worship.

The Quilting Ministry

The Quilting Ministry here at FELC is a vital part of our footprint in being the hands of Christ. Currently, our quilts go to the Lutheran World Relief to help people feel the love of Christ all over the world.

Our Quilters meet one time per month to check in and be a resource to each other in this amazing ministry.
