ANNUAL PROGRAMS

• Quarterly blood drives to support the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center
• Thanksgiving Food Distribution Project
• Christmas Giving Tree Project
• Raise funds for the American Cancer Society’s Victoria Relay for Life event
• Monthly collection of food items to support the Victoria Christian Assistance Ministry
• Annual financial support of Christ’s Kitchen, Salvation Army, and the Victoria Christian Assistance Ministry

SPECIAL PROJECTS

• Shadrach Meshach & Abednego-Saved from the Fire Smoke Detector Project – Distributed over 3,500 smoke detector in the Victoria community
• Operation Worship- Raised funds to provide Bibles to our armed forces
• Donated 80 box fans to the Victoria Community Action Committee
• Raised funds for the annual Crop Walk & Heart Walk
• Organized program on the “Joys and Jolts of Parenting Your Parents” presented to the Victoria community by speaker and author, Jim Comer
• Mission Trip to Costa Rica- Eight member team from First English Lutheran Church and Christ the Victor Lutheran Church witnessed first hand how the Lutheran Church of Costa Rica is spreading the Gospel in rural, impoverished areas of the country.  The team brought monetary donations and (ten), 100 pound suitcases filled with medical, dental and school supplies in support of the Lutheran mission programs in Costa Rica
